28th BCS results out at 6pm

The results will be sent to the Press Information Department and the media at around 6pm, Public Service Commission's public relations officer Mir Mosharraf Hossain said.
The results will not be available at the PSC office but on its website,
www.bpsc.gov.bd, around 8pm.
Over one lakh candidates took the preliminary exams on Nov 28, 2008 against 1,720 posts in different cadres.
The number of successful candidates in the final results may be more than 3,000, Hossain said.
Results of preliminary exams were published on Feb 1, 2009.
As many as 11,785 candidates sat the month-long written examinations that started on Apr 30, 2009 and the results were out on Sept 2 of that year.
Some 5,881 candidates passed the written exams--2,426 in general cadre, 1,862 in technical cadre and 1,593 in both general and technical cadres.
The oral exams ended last November.

ঢাকা, জুন ০৩ (বিডিনিউজ টোয়েন্টিফোর ডটকম)- ২৮তম বিসিএস পরীক্ষার চূড়ান্ত ফলাফল প্রকাশের সব প্রস্তুতি সম্পন্ন করেছে সরকারি কর্ম-কমিশন (পিএসসি)।
বৃহস্পতিবার সন্ধ্যা ৬টার দিকে সরকারি তথ্য অধিদপ্তর এবং গণমাধ্যমের কাছে ফলাফল পৌঁছে দেওয়া হবে বলে জানিয়েছেন পিএসসির জনসংযোগ কর্মকর্তা মীর মোশাররফ হোসাইন।
তিনি আরো জানান, পিএসসি কার্যালয়ে ফলাফলের কোনো তথ্য পাওয়া যাবে না। রাত ৮টার দিকে পিএসসির ওয়েব সাইট িি.িনঢ়ংপ.মড়া.নফ এ-ও ফলাফল পাওয়া যাবে।
২৮তম বিসিএস এর প্রিলিমিনারি পরীক্ষা নেওয়ার দেড় বছর পর এ ফল প্রকাশ করতে যাচ্ছে পিএসসি।
২৮তম বিসিএস পরীক্ষায় বিভিন্ন ক্যাডারের ১ হাজার ৭২০টি পদের বিপরীতে ১ লাখেরও বেশি শিক্ষার্থী ২০০৮ সালের ২৮ নভেম্বর প্রিলিমিনারি পরীক্ষায় অংশ নেয়।
তবে চূড়ান্ত ফলাফলে উত্তীর্ণের সংখ্যা তিন হাজারের কাছাকাছি হতে পারে বলে বৃহস্পতিবার জানিয়েছেন মোশাররফ হোসেন।
প্রিলিমিনারি পরীক্ষার পর ফল বের হয় গত বছরের ১ ফেব্র"য়ারি। এরপর এতে উত্তীর্ণ ১১ হাজার ৭৮৫ জনের লিখিত পরীক্ষা ৩০ এপ্রিল শুরু হয়ে শেষ হয় মে মাসে।
লিখিত পরীক্ষার ফল প্রকাশ হয় গত ২ সেপ্টেম্বর। এতে উত্তীর্ণ হয় ৫ হাজার ৮৮১ জন। এর মধ্যে সাধারণ ক্যাডারে ২ হাজার ৪২৬ জন, উভয় ক্যাডারে (সাধারণ ও টেকনিক্যাল) ১ হাজার ৫৯৩ জন এবং শুধু টেকনিক্যাল ক্যাডারে ১ হাজার ৮৬২ জন রয়েছে।
গত নভেম্বরে শেষ হয় তাদের মৌখিক পরীক্ষা।
